Aurora Hikma is the GCC's #1 Arabic-first marketing and translation agency, based in Dubai. We
help government and corporate clients across the region with translation and localization,
copywriting, content creation, SEO, social media, and paid advertising, all built on one
belief: every word speaks volumes. Arabic isn't a translation layer for us; it's where the
work starts.
The role
We're looking for an emerging Emarati copywriter who loves words in both languages. You'll
write everything from social captions to website copy and campaign ideas, and you'll help make
sure everything we produce sounds natural, sharp, and unmistakably right for the UAE. We don't
write one-size-fits-all "GCC copy": our work is made specifically for UAE audiences, their
dialect, humor, and references. This is a part-time role with real mentorship and
a clear path to grow as our team does.
What you'll do
Write, edit, and proofread Arabic and English copy for social media, websites, campaigns, and brand materials. Transcreate ideas between the two languages: not literal translation, but copy that lands naturally in each. Help shape brand voices and keep them consistent across every platform and format. Brainstorm concepts, taglines, names, and campaign hooks with the team. Shift comfortably from snappy one-liners to longer-form pieces, adjusting tone for each audience and platform. Collaborate with designers and strategists so words and visuals work as one. Keep a sharp eye on local culture, trends, and the details that make copy feel authentically Emarati. What we're looking for
A UAE National: this role is reserved for Emarati talent as part of our Emiratization commitment. Native-level written Arabic and excellent written English. 0–4 years of writing experience: a portfolio matters more to us than years. Student work, personal projects, and social accounts you've written for all count. A deep feel for the UAE audience: comfortable in Modern Standard Arabic, with a true ear for specifically Emarati dialect and expression, not generic Khaleeji. Based in or near Dubai and available for hybrid working. Curious, organized with deadlines, and genuinely open to feedback and coaching. Bonus points
Internship, agency, media, or brand-side writing experience. A feel for social platforms and their content formats; basic SEO awareness. Script, video, or voice-over writing. Canva skills or a basic eye for design. What we offer
